| 4 Rules of Text in Sigs Just a short little guide on how to add text to your sigs, hope it helps. 1. Not all sigs even need text. If you want to stop your tags from getting ripped, fair play, but why add text just for the sake of it. 2. Make sure the text blends in with the rest of the tag, and looks part of the background and render. Here are some examples: Notice how the text fits seamlessly into the tag? Bad Example: As you can see, text just looks slapped on. 3.Use interesting fonts. If someone find a tag with a font they see in their operating system every day, chances are it won't be very exciting. Use sites like dafont.com and 1001fonts.com to find free, good looking fonts. 4. Text can be any size, and can stand out, or hide away in the background of a sig. Don't be afraid to make text the focal point, or leave it subtle, hardly noticeable. Examples: Tiny, subtle text, thats fits perfectly with the colours and style of the tag. Big, bold text, almost taking your attention away from the render / stock figures, yet still remaining within the colours and style of the tag. | |
